The African groundnut (or peanut) is usually made into a sauce, unlike the west, where peanuts are used mostly as a butter. The sauce is usually put on rice or meats or matooke (a traditional Ugandan food). I personally love groundnut sauce. Anytime I make rice, you know the groundnut sauce is being made as well.
