Rwanda’s “little secret” helps us with our health problems?

Screen Shot 2014-11-03 at 9.44.47 AMWhat if I told you there was a “little secret” in Rwanda that can fight internal inflammation, lower your blood pressure, reduce migraines and so much more. Rejoice hot sauce lovers, spicy connoisseurs, and foodies galore cause Rwanda’s Akabanga hot sauce, could be the relief to so many of our health problems.

Akabanga in Kinyarwanda means “little secret” trying one or two drops you feel the instant kick in your mouth. Not only is it good for you, but the taste is phenomenal; my poor mouth will have to suffer ever so often.

Akabanga has two main important ingredients to give us the extra boost in our health: olive oil and yellow chili pepper. Here are just 4 of the top benefits we get from Rwanda’s little secret.

  1. Fights Inflammation

Ask any doctor today, they will say internal inflammation is the number one cause of some of the most chronic diseases: diabetes, cancers, and so much more. That’s why any food or liquid I can add to my diet to fight this, I will.

  1. Reduces Migraines

If you suffer from migraines you understand the toll it takes on your daily life. At times medications and treatments just do not work; we have to look at our diets instead.

  1. Burns Fat , Aids in Weight loss

C’mon your eating and losing weight at the same time, can I get an amen! If only other parts of life were as easy as this…

  1. Supports Heart Health

Heart attacks are the number one cause of death in men and soon to be the number one for women. Chili peppers are known to lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels, which are the major causes of heart attacks.

Sorry Rwanda, might not be a little secret anymore!

Want Good Looking Skin, Do This For A Week

The miracle liquid for flawless looking skin is water! Living in East Africa I am constantly drinking water, maybe it has to do with the climate, maybe sodas are not as accessible as in the states; whatever the reason you will find me with a bottle of water. I cannot stress this enough, water will make your skin look brighter, stronger, and clearer. All the blemishes, pimples, and acne you might see on your face and body are reflective of what is going on inside your body. A lot of the times we use products after products to remove these bad appearances. This, however, is a reactive approach. Water is one of the most inexpensive substances we can take to give us great looking skin.

Further the amount of water we are drinking is not enough. We are constantly being told that 8 glasses a day is sufficient for everyone. This could not be further from the truth. You can’t tell me that someone who weighs 110 pounds should be drinking the same amount of water as someone who weighs 250 pounds. Each persons water intake should be based on weight and activity levels.

So, here’s the real rule of thumb:

Water Intake in ounces= 2/3 * weight

So, for someone 175pounds multiply their weight by 2/3 then you will get 117 ounces or 3.5 liters. This is the amount of water they should be drinking a day!

Try this method for a week and see the immediate difference you will see in your health.
